MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF BOARD OF TRUSTEES
HOLIDAY SHORES SANITARY DISTRICT
Monday August 26, 2024, At 4:30 PM
The Board of Trustees of the Holiday Shores Sanitary District met on the above date in special session pursuant to laws and rules of said Board of Trustees and in accordance with the terms of the notice of a special meeting.
Richard Hayes, President and Trustee called the meeting to order. Trustees Brennan Murphy and Jeffrey Hebenstreit were present. Carla Lankster, District Clerk, and Rob Clarkson, General Manager were also present.
FINANCIAL
This special meeting was called, due to time restraints to approve the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Budget. The detailed budget has been presented at the past two regular meetings, but some changes have been made to the final budget, and must be approved to be written into the annual budget ordinance.
There were several items discussed at the August 12, 2024 meeting that have been adjusted. The number of average gallons per household, per month was changed from 3,600 to 3,500 from information on the Water Consumption report. The new cloud software will have fixed asset expenses in the Water Fund and the Sewer Fund for a total of $24,000 and the balance of $16,000 will be expensed in General Fund for Training Expenses. There is $5,000 in General Fund for two new computers to be purchased. The total salaries in General Fund have been adjusted after some additional calculations.
With the changes listed above, the detailed budget was voted on, to be written into the FY 2024-2025 Budget Ordinance. Mr. Murphy made a motion to approve the detailed FY 2024-2025 budget. Mr. Hebenstreit seconded the motion, and all Trustees voted “Aye”. The Budget Ordinance will be presented at the September 9, 2024 Meeting of the Trustees.

Mr. Murphy made a motion to adjourn the special meeting. Mr. Hebenstreit seconded the motion, and all Trustees voted “Aye”.
