MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF BOARD OF TRUSTEES

HOLIDAY SHORES SANITARY DISTRICT

Wednesday, May 17, 2023 At 5:00 PM

The Board of Trustees of the Holiday Shores Sanitary District met on the above date in special session pursuant to laws and rules of said Board of Trustees and in accordance with the terms of the notice of a special meeting.  Due to a technology malfunction, there was no voice recording of the meeting.  The following is a summary of who attended and what was discussed.

Richard Hayes, President and Trustee called the meeting to order.  Trustee Brennan Murphy was present.  Also present was Mr. Rob Clarkson, a candidate for the job position of General Manager.

After the introduction, a motion was made by Mr. Hayes to Adjourn to Executive Session, Pursuant to Statute 5ILCS 120/2 (C)(1) and (C)(2), to discuss personnel matters and employee compensation, with respect to the new General Manager position.  Mr. Murphy seconded the motion, and all Trustees voted “Aye”.

Returning to the regular special session, Mr. Hayes made a statement regarding an interview with Mr. Rob Clarkson during the executive session has resulted in a decision to hire Mr. Clarkson as the new General Manager for Holiday Shores Sanitary District.  Several candidates were considered, and the Trustees decided that Mr. Clarkson would be the best choice to fill the position.

Mr. Hayes made a motion to adjourn the special meeting.  Mr. Murphy seconded the motion, and all Trustees voted “Aye”.
